Ice Roads is our comprehensive ice fishing school, giving you a combination of on ice demonstration and instruction along with in-depth in class seminars, again reaching out to both the new and veteran ice angler. Our instructors are a mix of the best ice fishing personalities in the nation along with the top local guides from our host destination, giving you a wide range of knowledge to tap into. Also, besides our great instructors, we have teamed with the most cutting edge ice fishing related companies to help boost your learning curve. Companies such as Clam Corporation, StrikeMaster Augers, Vexilar, Berkley, LakeMaster,YakTrax, and Christian Brothers are all dedicated to the Lrn2Fish philosophy!! "Hello Mr. Bluegill, We See You" - Lake Okoboji

Lake Okoboji, IA  March 5th, 6th, & 7th

This year we will also be hosting our most in-depth school again, keeping with our theme of bringing you to the hottest fishing destinations in the ice belt. This year we head to the Great Lakes of Iowa, searching for behemoth bluegills in the crystal clear waters of Lake Okoboji.   Also, for a treat and a little change of pace, we will sniff out some jumbo perch, across the road on Spirit Lake. This curriculum will teach you all the tools necessary to become a master at locating and then catching bull bluegills and sumo perch, along with showing you proper methods of jigging to entice the bite. Everything from beginning your search at home through map reading to proper placement of drilled holes to searching with both your Vexilar and your eyes will be covered thoroughly.

With the likes of Dave Genz, Don Cox, Jim Kusuda, Rick Johnson, the Seiberts and our local knowledge of Ryan Hale, Scott Reed, and Rod Woten you will be taught by the best of the best for this body of water. Each have years of experience in the search for bluegill and perch, fishing countless bodies of water for these species, including a lot of time on our target waters. Also, staff from our family of sponsors will be on site along with bringing some treats to fill your gift bag that will be an immediate help at this school.

Our host site will be smack dab on the water we will be fishing, Camp Okoboji. Friday we will begin the school, starting at 10AM for check-in. Starting at 12PM, we will begin our seminars that will help all students orientate themselves with the goals of the school and the lake itself. Saturday and Sunday will be reserved for fishing time, where you will have hands on demonstration from our instructors.  This school is all inclusive, where all your lodging and meals are included in the price of $450.00. This school will take place on March 5th, 6th and 7th 2010 and is limited to the first 40 participants.
